Whimsical Event Studio, LLC is a Wedding & Event Planning Service and Creative Design Studio. We offer a full range of event planning services such as Day of Coordination, Partial Planning, and Full Planning Services which includes styling and designing the overall aesthetic. As well, we offer a few in-house services such as Balloon Artistry, Paper Flowers, and Floral Design. As a Wedding Planner, we simplify and curate your event by collaborating with reputable vendors and offering in-house design services. Our mission is to provide our clients with professional service that brings their dream wedding or event to fruition, and ensures their special day is stress-free and epic in every way! In our consultation meeting, we “listen thoroughly” to your needs, desires, ideas, and suggestions to execute everlasting memories. We are storytellers at heart! So, we are passionate about capturing your vision and love story through the lens of luxe designs and creativity.
Our business name defined – It means our creative approach to aesthetic is with unusual style and freedom to be different. In our approach to creative design, we aim to be original, imaginative, unexpected, playful, and very stylish. We embrace all color palettes and textures to create true harmony and balance that reflects you!
Meet our Founder
A native of South Florida, Valerie’s passion for flowers & events began 20 years ago when she embarked on her introduction to the floral industry. She began attending a weekly floral class in Margate, FL with a well-known florist by the name of Manny. It was through the lens of this class that she realized she has a natural talent for floral & event design. With this passion and natural gift for creativity, Petals of Love Florist was born. She started this business in 1998 targeting the Palm Beach market for floral design. She’s known for being a natural talent with a “keen eye for detail”. Her designs are bold, distinctive, whimsical, and extremely creative. She has the ability to fuse beautiful textures, colors, props, and styles that align with her client’s vision for their special event. Fast forward to a new era where event design is enriched with various layers, Valerie has rebranded Petals of Love and formed Whimsical Event Studio, LLC, a luxe Wedding & Event Planning Service and Floral Design Studio. Leveraging over 20 years of creative decorating experience, Valerie is the Owner, CEO & Creative Director of this Full-Service Design Studio with a mission to provide a Luxe Experience for her clients.
I’m a hopeless romantic who enjoys the beauty of love. I absolutely love flowers and decorating. With over 5 years of experience in corporate event planning and 20 years in floral and creative design, I am blessed to be gifted with natural creative talent and the ability to fuse personalities with aesthetic. I have worked in the Human Resources Management field in a senior-level capacity with over 17 years of experience in managing, coaching, and developing people. So, getting to know people and understanding what makes them thrive is my “happy place”. I love to travel and experience new cultures and people. I have traveled all over the world with London and Paris being my favorite! I’m inspired by love, kindness, self-love, empowering others, family, and all things pink and pastels. When I’m not planning & styling an event, I enjoy crafting personally as a hobby, spending time at the beach to reflect on life, spending time with family, and watching HGTV or Lifetime.
